Thank you to everyone involved in making "An Inspector Calls" the Chameleons' most successful play performed in recent memory. We welcomed 420 people through our doors, so a big thank you to each and every one of you.
The Chameleons open their 40th Anniversary programme with something truly special. An Inspector Calls is surely the most famous of J.B. time and as popular today as it was sixty years ago when first it was first published.
Since then it has been performed across the world, asking questions of generation after generation. It is as relevant today as ever before and now The Chameleons take a turn at presenting a night of intrigue.
It is a spring evening in 1912 at the Brumley home of the Birlings, a prosperous industrial family in the North Midlands. The family is enjoying a dinner party celebrating the engagement of their daughter to a man who is heir to the most successful family business in the North -- but they are about to be interrupted by the persistent Police Inspector Goole. Who is this man? Is he an Inspector and just what does he know about the lives of these people?
The show ran from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th April 2006 at the Harrow Arts Centre.
