The Chameleons are delighted to introduce a fresh and vibrant re-telling of the classic story of Sleeping Beauty. In house writers, Radnor Everett and Robert Spolander combine the magic of this beautiful story of love and adventure, with a host of new characters in a tale that will have you laughing, cheering and singing along from start to finish.

Nanny Nelly, our hard working Dame, tells the tale of the beautiful Princess Ruby and her childhood sweetheart the handsome Prince Opal. As with every good story there are those who would spoil the party and you won’t find one much more evil than Fairy Amethyst, sworn to gain her revenge. Fear not, my friends, the good fairies are there to save the day (some one hundred years later!) along with a colourful Royal Army, you’ll never forget. It all adds up to a night (or afternoon) to remember and all in the best tradition of pantomime!
If you've seen our spectacular pantomimes before then Sleeping Beauty certainly won’t disappoint you. Watch out for magic, music and so much more! The production team is in place and already hard at work. It's all set to be a colourful production filled with wonderful characters, song and dance, and of course…bags of energy!
The Chameleons Pantomime is now a firm favourite with the local community priding itself on the perfect blend of traditional family entertainment, spectacular scenes and of course value for money! We would be delighted if you could join Nanny Nelly,
Princess Ruby, a talking piglet and a large cast of adults and children alike all just as excited as you!

Performances ran from Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th January 2011.
