The Chameleons proudly present….
Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs. This popular Dicscworld novel is full of adventure and colourful characters and the stage version more than brings them to life. We promise an evening of entertainment, a small resemblance to Macbeth (I think I can say the name online?…ouch was that lightning?)…oh and of course three very Wyrd Sisters out to save the world from an evil King obsessed with cleanliness. It all adds up to what should be a night (or afternoon if you prefer) to remember…unless of course your name is Shakespeare! So, when shall we three meet again…? How about between the 8th and 10th of May at the Glaxo SmithKline Leisure Club, Greenford. For more information go to the Wyrd Sisters page on this site!
Yes, you read that corectly, The Chameleons are delighted to bring our next show to a brand new venue. The Leisure club offers comfort, a fully licensed bar, pre show refreshments and it’s very own car park (or broom park if you prefer) so why not support us in this venture.
The show runs from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th May 2008 at The Glaxo SmithKline Leisure Club, Oldfield Lane North, Greenford. The hall has full disabled access, although we would ask for prior notice if you wish to bring a wheelchair. For further details please feel free to contact the Box Office on (020) 8123 6443, or visit our website at www.thechameleons.co.uk where we will also be taking online bookings via paypal.

It’s getting near to the Chameleons 2008 production of Cinderella,
and things are now starting to get hectic. We are all enjoying rehearsals
and having good fun. We are perfecting dance moves and running act 1 in
rehearsals at the moment, to get it up to standard.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish a happy birthday to Louise
Hartnett, who is 15 on the 8th December.
Anyway, back to Cinderella who has a lot of work on her hands as she is
the choreographer for the dance moves in this show too. So the chorus
members would like to say a big thank you to her.
Being a part of the pantomime is a privilege as we have the best of fun
and the senior members are very professional.
We will write more soon.
We can’t wait to perform this panto!!!!!

Yes…as promised…here is your first Chameleons Chorus Blog…so over to ypour roving reporters, Rachel and Ria…
”Previously in panto, 6 girls have been working on a number called,
“Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat dolls. You may know it. They thoroughly
enjoyed working on this number and all the chorus have enjoyed working
on all the numbers we have done for the fourthcoming pantomime. We would like to say
Happy Birthday to Lucy Goodson. A chorus member. As her birthday has just passed.
In panto rehearsals we have good times. And sometimes get the giggles. But we get
down to work too, to make sure that the numbers and everything we do
its down to perfection.
We will give you an update soon, to tell you how it is going.

Yes you read this correctly! Ccming to this website very soon will be, for the first time, an opportunity to hear from those who really make our pantomime as succesful as it is. We have asked two members of the Cinderella chorus to write a page once a week. It will be posted on this blog and gives them the opportunity to tell the behind the scenes story on this spectacular show in their very own words. What they decide to post on here is largely up to them with a guiding hand just to ensure it’s all in the best possible taste. So…stay tuned for more to come…I would introduce you to our editors…but I rather they may want to do so themselves…ttfn…

Hello there,
I hope you are all well?
This is a short plea really…
As many of you will know, Ricardo Gonzales will once again be taking on the role of Musical Director for next January’s production of Cinderella. Whilst preparations are well under way, we are faced with a small difficulty. We are in need of rehearsal pianists to play for our rehearsals. After a recent production meeting, we have managed to come up with an initial series of dates to which we will require this. After the initial audition process we will be moving to one rehearsal a week for music for the first few weeks before negotiating the rest of the period between the production team. So, what is it we require? Well, a pianist of sufficient standard to confidently deal with a range of eighties to modern pop and musical numbers in the busy (but buzzy!) environment of chameleons pantomime rehearsals. Whilst we are a voluntary organisation with a tight budget, we have made provision in the budget for some payment for this and it would be wise for me to discuss this individually with those who are interested rather than quote figures. To confirm, rehearsals take place on Mondays and Thursdays between September and January. So, if you know anybody who may be interested then please do let me know as soon as you can. If they are unsure if they are strong enough players for this role but are still interested then please let me know and I will arrange for them to meet up with Ricardo and take it from there.
Please feel free to forward this email to anybody you feel may be interested,
Thank you for your time,
