Awards and Nominations Roundup

This year, In a first for the Society, We entered 'Allo 'Allo into the 2010 Barnet and District Drama Festival. We are delighted to announce that we were awarded the Andew Forney Memorial Trophy - Adjudictor's Special Award.
The adjudicator, Charles Evans awarded this for Ingenuity. Performing a show of this nature, with its many diferent settings, in a hall with limited space and facilities was a massive challenge and we have been commended our use of every inch of available space, our use of the revolving set constructed by Craig Marshall and bringing the cafe in to the audience. Congraulations to all involved.
We were also been nominated for two awards by NODA - The National Operatic and Dramatic Association - London Region .
The Chameleons were awarded the "It's Behind You" Best Pantomime Award for our production of Beauty and the Beast in January 2009 and were delighted to have been nominated again for our 2010 production of Jack and the Beanstalk. Our Souvenir show programme for this production has been Highly Commended and was named overall 3rd in its class from 239 productions.
We were also nominated for The Shinfield Players Scenic Award for our production of The Hollow - Autumn 2008. Congratulations to all involved in these productions.
