‘Allo ‘Allo

Join The Chameleons as we visit Café René in this play written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, based on the original BBC series.

Based on the hugely successful British television series this uproarious comedy relates the adventures of a hapless café owner, René, in occupied France. You can see all of your favourite TV characters in the flesh as they navigate how to deal with a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis hidden in a sausage in their cellar where two British airmen are also hiding. News that the Führer is scheduled to visit the town inspires tricksters disguised as Hitler to frequent the cafe while René summons all the wit he can muster to save his café and his life.

The Chameleons have a rich tradition of the very best in family entertainment and have been performing plays for over 50 years. Our huge back catalogue of plays includes Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, Agatha Christie and many comedies.

We are delighted to be returning to The Compass Theatre with ‘Allo ‘Allo and we look forward to seeing you there!
