Beauty and the Beast 2017

What time is it boys and girls? It’s Panto time!

The Chameleons are roaring back with a fantastic production that’s the perfect way to wrap up your festive season! From January 5th to 8th 2017 we’ll be performing Beauty and the Beast.

Performing Pantomimes since 1971, we’re perfectly placed to bring you our take on this classic tale! In fact, our last production of Beauty and the Beast in 2009 received the NODA London ‘It’s Behind You” award for best pantomime.

Beauty and the Beast? A pantomime? Oh you’d better believe it! Everything you expect from one of our pantos will be there….and much more besides. In-house writers bring you their own vibrant take on a fairy tale told to so many generations before ours. A tale so simple…a tale where love conquers all…eventually!

Whether you remember the many film and television versions of this tale, or whether you experience it for the first time, we guarantee you something truly special. Leave the world behind you and join The Chameleons for a couple of hours of thrills and spills. We’ll take you, Belle and a host of hilarious characters on a magical journey as we open the story book at once upon a time and take you all the way to happily ever after!

If you’ve seen our shows before then Beauty and the Beast certainly won’t disappoint you. The production team is in place and already hard at work. It’s set to be a colourful production filled with wonderful characters, bright costume, and of course…bags of Chameleons energy!

Our Pantomime is a firm favourite with the local community priding itself on the perfect blend of traditional family entertainment, live music, song and dance and value for money! So, come and join in the fun.

We help to raise money to support a local charity with our annual pantomime. This year, we will be raisng money in aid of St Luke’s hospice, Registered Charity Number 298555.

The pantomime takes place at the wonderful theatre at Claremont, Claremont High School, Kenton. As well as providing a great place to do theatre, we offer free parking, a licensed bar, and all the fun of panto memorabilia for the family.
